metapeople at the OMD 2006 exhibition - In retrospect

On 20 and 21 September the Online Marketing Düsseldorf exhibition took place in the Messehallen Düsseldorf in Germany. metapeople is looking back on two exhibition days filled with a multitude of inspiring conversations around the topics of search engine marketing, search engine optimisation and performance measurement. For the forth time in a row metapeople was represented as exhibitor at the OMD. As the exhibition itself the company as well can look retrospectively at a steady growth.
Its size is defined mainly by its internationality. Currently metapeople is operating campaigns in more than 40 countries, while other companies do not even consider these possibilities. Many of their visitors were very interested in this international orientation and asked detailed questions about the miscellaneous options. Also the subject Affiliate Marketing enjoys a growing popularity and the metaapes staff was thus able to network and have a lot of interesting conversations. The fact that most people are much more experienced in the field of online marketing is a most gratifying development. That way it was possible to jump in profound conversations right from the start.

OMD attendance beat the records of the previous year again: 6,600 visitors were counted, compared to 5,000 visitors in the preceding year. 180 exhibitors were represented at this year’s exhibition; the OMD was fully booked. If this upward trend continues like that, the Online Marketing Düsseldorf will have to move within the next years again.
Following the OMD, metapeople celebrated the successful ending of the exhibition with customers, partners and staff at the metapeople cooldown in Bar Alexandra. metapeople wants to thank all of their visitors, customers and partners for two great exhibition days, hoping that you will visit the agency for effective online marketing at the OMD next year again!
